Mineral exploration and mine development in the Green River Basin of NW Colorado and Wyoming
AuPt Industries operates a pilot mining project, the West Side Placer (WSP) in the Green River Basin. The West Side Placer is associated with lake shore deposition and concentration in ancient Lake Gosiute, a central geologic feature of the Green River Basin. Heavy mineral sand composition at the West Side Placer include monazite, xenotime and euxenite; all collectors of rare-earth elements.
